Studio Sessions

My studio portrait sessions are based on two-hour slots, so you have enough time to relax, get comfortable with the camera, and ease into your shoot.

When you arrive, we’ll chat for a bit over a cup of tea or coffee and run through any specific requirements you might have. Once you’re ready, we’ll begin with some test shots to help us warm up and see what’s going to work best.

It’s a good idea to bring a change of outfit, or something to help vary your look.

"I cannot recommend Jonathan highly enough. He is a careful and attentive photographer who does everything to put his sitter at ease; I was very nervous about being photographed, but Jonathan's calm and professional demeanour helped me to relax and even to enjoy the process (sort of!). I received my full gallery a few days after the shoot and the images Jonathan captured were sensitive and full of depth. The most difficult part of the whole thing was choosing which picture to use!" ~ Tricia.

Commercial & Event Photography

I also offer portrait and headshot photography in your workplace, as well as coverage for events that you're planning. Since every organisation is different, I quote based on a recommended length of time, either by the hour, or by a half / full day.

About Me

After working as a biologist for some years, I went full time into photography in 2014. What had started out as a field trip hobby had become something I couldn't put down.

Perhaps it's a cliché, but I love the power that photography has to find something extraordinary within the ordinary.

Originally from Northamptonshire in England, I now live in Belfast with my wife, Róisín, our two children, and two crazy cats.
